Enric Farrés Duran
Enric Farrés, artist, publisher and cultural agitator, started his degree in philosophy because the faculty was on his way to the Massana art school where he was a student. Despite the seeming randomness of his decision, his working methods seem to be influenced by academia.
He researches, compiles references and becomes obsessed with a subject until he can squeeze some meaning out of it and generate contents. With all this information his projects materialise in very diverse, autonomous but complementary ways, ranging from publications to visits or presentations.
His work reflects a profound interest in literature, libraries, archives and collections. He goes on researching until he can understand how different contexts function and demonstrate the workings of their mechanisms. He considers mediation and reception as a fundamental part of his projects, channelled through presentations and performative visits.
SON[I]A talks with Enric about his latest projects, collecting obsessively, the value of the ephemeral, the use of lies as a creative strategy and the complicit relationship with those around him, as well as other aspects of his work.

As part of the exhibition "Sampler #4. Things that Happen", Enric Farrés Duran turns the tables on us with a proposal to get Ràdio Web MACBA to talk about his artistic practice. Bernat Daviu
Bernat Daviu (b. Fonteta, Baix Empordà, 1985) is an artist who considers himself a painter first and foremost. A painter aware that the death of painting has long been anticipated but has not yet arrived. As such, he expands it and allows it to mutate into objects, costume design, dance, performance, video, music, and art installations. He activates painting, sets it in motion, and turns it into a mirror of our surroundings. Daviu is interested in the borderlands between art and non-art. In this podcast, he talks about his 2020 work Stanza, in which painted canvases break free from the frame and start to dance and interact with other artistic disciplines.
Peter Downsbrough
In FONS ÀUDIO #49, Peter Downsbrough takes his works from the MACBA Collection as a springboard to talk about a relationship with photography spanning almost half a century, and about how it fits into the jigsaw puzzle of techniques and disciplines that make up his artistic vocabulary. We talk about space, cities, invisible lines, and the critical attitude that runs subtly through his practice.
