When Species Meet: Feminism after Cyborgs” is the title of the seminar that Donna Haraway, PhD in Biology and Professor of Feminist Theory and Techno-science, directed at the MACBA from 22 to 24 May 2006. Following the line of work already begun with “Post-porno Marathon” and the “Technologies of Gender” workshop, this seminar focuses on the analysis of critical discourses linked to the construction of the notion of gender, sexuality and race in contemporary society. This SON[I]A speaks with Donna Haraway about science, technology and gender and the “calculus of domination”.
