Son[i]a #92
The MACBA Study Centre presents “The Malady of Writing. A project on text and the speculative imagination” (20/11/2009 – 25/04/2010), an exhibition based on books that are written by artists and yet are not traditional “artists’ books”. The common denominator that unites the collection is the idea of fiction as a new way of relating to contemporary art. As well as opening this library to the public, the project includes three specific works by Erick Beltrán, Jørgen Michaelsen, and David Bestué and Marc Vives.
Son[i]a talks to Bartomeu Marí and Chus Martínez.
Mexican artist Erick Beltrán shares some prominent examples from his personal research into archives and libraries.
