“#03 Pep Duran. A Chain of Events” is a large installation, 22 metres long, formed by 100 ceramic moulds, which was produced specifically for exhibition in the Capella MACBA. The work, which is divided into two parts – “Retaule laic” (Secular Altarpiece, 2010-2011); and “Peça escrita” (Written Piece, 2010-2011) – brings together and distils the intellectual, formal and aesthetic influences that lie at the core of Duran’s thought and artistic practice.
