Benet Rossell

Benet Rossell is difficult to classify, because he constantly invents new approaches. He uses multiple forms and distorts formats in order to infuse them with new potential: drawing becomes text, writing triggers action, film becomes poetic musings around time. A creative universe made up of pictograms, video works, text, and performance, through which the multifaceted Catalan artist has explored, since the 1960s, the limits of language and forms of communication. In FONS ÀUDIO #5, Benet Rossell contextualises some of his works in the MACBA Collection.
