The MACBA presents the complex, heterogeneous work of Canadian artist Rodney Graham (Abbotsford, 1949) in the exhibition "Rodney Graham: Through the Forest" (January 30 – May 18, 2010).

Strongly influenced by seventies conceptual art and literature, Graham evolves a work focused on disparate themes, including reflections on lighting and photographic processes, the artist’s role, adaptation of literary texts, appropriation of the history of art and the painting of the School of Paris.

In parallel to the exhibition at MACBA, the Museu Picasso de Barcelona presents "Possible Abstractions", a project especially created by the artist to mark this event.

Bartomeu Marí talks to Rodney Graham and Friedrich Meschede, curator of the exhibition.
