With "La anarquía del silencio. John Cage y el arte experimental" ["The Anarchy of Silence. John Cage and Experimental Art", 23/10/2009 – 10/01/2010], the MACBA presents the most complete exhibition on artist and composer John Cage (1912-1992) to be seen since his death.
To understand Cage's important contribution to 20th century contemporary art and modern music, the exhibition takes a look back at the artist's career and also highlights his collaborations with different artists.
Son[i]a speaks to Bartomeu Marí, the director of the MACBA, and Julia Robinson, the exhibition's curator.
