The series "Little Histories of Cinema. TV Giants” revisits the work of a series of figures from North American television culture from the medium’s beginnings in the 1950s to the 1990s that have combined genius, eccentricity and educational sense to create programmes aimed at children and families.

It’s a review of different pioneering initiatives in entertainment and education ranging from surrealism of Spike Jones, Ernie Kovacs and Peewee Herman to the educational work of The Children's Workshop for social inclusion and the promotion of reading.

Son[i]a speaks with Carolina López Caballero, the curator of the series.
