Alongside the exhibitions, the MACBA presents a program of activities of different kinds that acknowledge the museum as a discursive device, not just a container for artworks or a simple exhibition space.

Courses, seminars, film programs, research and artistic dissemination projects are some of the activities that will be offered by the MACBA during the 2009-2010 season.
