“Art, theatre and its double” is a course-conference programme organised to accompany the exhibition “A Theatre without theatre” to try to explore the notions of theatre implied in the artistic practices of the 20th century, as well as in theoretical discussions of modern art.
SON[I]A speaks with José Antonio Sánchez, speaker in this course, on the intersections between theatre and artistic practices, the weight of the inheritance of the Theatre of Cruelty of A. Artaud, political theatre in the 1960–70s, as well as new forms of transmission of archaic theatre practices.
