Under the title “Institutional Critique and Mental Health”, the MACBA presents a series of debates dedicated to the analysis of current psychiatric policies based on a critical review of the current healthcare system. These discussions, coordinated by Clara Bardón, Enric Berenguer, Guillem Homet and Montserrat Puig, will enable a present-day exploration of the evolution of concepts linked to mental health, questioning madness and placing an institutional critique on the table. This SON[I]A speaks about the subject with Jorge Ribalta, Head of Public Programmes at the MACBA. The programme also includes a short interview with Zush, taken from the “Tecura 2001” exhibition, and audio extracts from “Mones com la Becky” (“Monkeys Like Becky”), by Joaquim Jordà.
