Son[i]a #2
Carles Guerra
“Joaquim Jordà. Situational Cinema” is a series of films and debates which, in something akin to a cinema-forum model, reviews the film career of Joaquim Jordà. An oeuvre of risk and experimentation with film that serves today as a model for young filmmakers who seek alternative ways of creating cinema outside the predominant production systems. This SON[I]A speaks with Carles Guerra, curator of the series, and explores a variety of issues such as the documentary and the crisis in cinema, the museum as a cinema theatre and the cinema of debate.
Joaquim Jordà talks about cinema in the context of the "Joaquim Jordà: Situational Cinema" discussions.
