Son[i]a #10
Ana Longoni
“Decentred. Other Accounts of Conceptualism (Argentina and Latin America)” is a four-session course dedicated to the analysis of Latin American conceptualism. The course focuses on the paradigmatic case of Argentina, offering a peripheral reading of the artistic practices that have developed in parallel to the predominant official artistic discourses. This SON[I]A goes over the ideas and reflections of Ana Longoni, the inspiration behind the course.
Overwhelmed by the institutionalised discourse of politics and economists, we invite artists, philosophers, researchers and poets to share their ideas about what is happening to us, to comment on the positive and negative implications of this structural crisis, and to imagine an uncertain future.
Roberto Jacoby opens up his poetry books and talks about writing, inspiration, plundering and dematerialisation; about blacks and whites, sofa-beds, politics and activism.
