EN CRISIS #3
Reflections at a critical juncture: Toni Serra, Ana Longoni and Rubén Martínez
With the collaboration of the Coral Escola de Música Sant Gervasi
#encrisis taps into the constant stream of people and ideas that flow through MACBA in order to reflect on the present moment, in which paradigm changes and new working models prevail. Overwhelmed by the institutionalised discourse of politics and economists, we invite artists, philosophers, researchers and poets to share their ideas about what is happening to us, to comment on the positive and negative implications of this structural crisis, and to imagine an uncertain future. We get the ball rolling with Toni Serra, Ana Longoni and Rubén Martínez.
Toni Serra is an artist and founding member of the OVNI Archives, where he carries out research, media archaeology, programming, and criticism projects. His videos, which are a mix of experimental essay and poetry, explore the notion of trance and the realities of dreams.
Ana Longoni is a writer, researcher and lecturer in Media and Cultural Theory at the Department of Philosophy and Literature, University of Buenos Aires. She also teaches at the MACBA Independent Studies Programme (PEI) and the Faculty of Social Sciences in Buenos Aires.
Rubén Martínez is a researcher and teacher, and a member of the IGOP. He is part of the collaborative research project empresasdelprocomun.net and the cultural innovation platform ZZZINC.
