What capacity do artistic institutions have to infiltrate the social fabric? Museums and art centres are seeking to escape from the walls that legitimise all that is art and offer new forms of production and perception. In an attempt to seek out means of infiltration, the "Hem pres la ràdio" ("We've Taken the Radio") project, organised by the Centre d'Art Santa Mònica, prepared a series of radio programmes which was inserted into the programming of various radio stations throughout 2006 with the additional aim of redefining radio and recovering it as a public space, for the public. This SON[I]A speaks with Jorge Luis Marzo, the project coordinator.
