The exhibition 'Invocable Reality' presents various approaches to reality through artistic practice. Modern man's relationship to the real is expressed in the many different ways through which art grapples with the mechanisms by which reality is constructed.
This not invoked but invocable reality is one that seeks to find its own essence, and that is deployed inside and outside of the museum.

SON[I]A talks to Montse Badia, the curator of the exhibition, about the links between the exhibition space and the reality exhibited in the show. We also talk to MACBA's research director Valentín Roma about the exhibition in the context of the Museum's new programming line that seeks to engage with the local art scene.
