Public Photographic Spaces. Propaganda Exhibitions from Pressa to The Family of Man, 1928-55 is the title of the catalogue that accompanies the exhibition The Universal Archive. The condition of the Document and the Modern Photographic Utopia. Far from transferring the exhibition discourse into print form, this catalogue is presented as an additional element that can contribute to an in-depth analysis of the theses that shaped the exhibition at the MACBA. The result offers a tour through exhibitions that made use of photography for propaganda purposes.
Son[i]a interviews the designer of the catalogue, Filiep Tacq, to talk about editorial work in the exhibition context.
