Throughout the 20th century, Cadaqués was a regular summer venue for numerous artists, among them such famous names as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Man Ray, Marcel Duchamp, John Cage, Richard Hamilton and Dieter Rorth. This, along with the appearance of the Galeria Cadaqués in the 1960s on the initiative of Lanfranco Bombelli, bestowed on this small town on the Costa Brava coast a peripheral but outstanding role in 20th century Catalan contemporary art. This SON[I]A speaks with Roland Groenenboom, curator of the "galeria cadaqués. works of the bombelli collection" exhibition.
